| Consultation is now closed
Residents are invited to have their say on proposed improvements to the Gloucester Reserve precinct at Williamstown Beach between Bayview Street and the life saving club.
Improve safety
The draft plan includes:
Construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of the Esplanade and Victoria Street Relocation and modification to the bus terminus Revised layout of the existing car park Redevelopment of the existing beach kiosk and public toilets.
The proposed works will improve the amenity and safety of the area and free up coastal land for recreational use.
The Council has allocated $330,000 from the 2009/10 Capital Works budget to begin the first stage of the project, which is the construction of the roundabout at the intersection of the Esplanade and Victoria Street.
